Early morning
The sun arises in majestic splendour
Giving life, healing power and beauty
To all of creation.
May the glory of the Lord
As the glory of the early morning sun
Alight upon you and beautify
With His life-giving power.
Noon time,
The sun blazes forth in overwhelming splendour
Smiting all before it, all of creation bows
Subject to it's uncontested reign.
May the glory of the Lord
As the noon-day sun alight upon you
And subdue all before Him.
At even time.
Retires in confidence of glorious splendour
So big, so fat, in wonder of beauty
Leaving no life untouched.
May the glory of the Lord
As the evening sun REST upon you
Yes, the glory of the Lord
Shall find a resting place in your life
But then, there is a glory of the sun
And a glory of the moon.
And none can compare.
